Nagpur :- Rotary International District 3030, along with Rotary Club of Nagpur Elite in association with Rotary Club of Nagpur West, Rotary Club of Nagpur Ishanya & Rotary Club of Nagpur has organized a SEMINAR of Rotary Youth Exchange on 30th Oct 2022, at Sai Sabhagruh, Near Shankar Nagar Sq., behind Wockhart Hospital, Nagpur from 4pm to 6pm. This seminar is FREE & helpful for the students of class 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th those who are interested to know, they can attend this seminar along with their parents.
The Rotary Youth Exchange program is an exchange program for higher secondary school students, aged between 15 to 18 years. Under this program, students travel to other countries to learn about the culture and the language, as well as act as a cultural ambassador for their own country. Being a school based program, the exchange duration is of one full academic term of 10 months in long term prog, & the student has to attend school in exchange country. There is also a short term prog for 4 to 6 weeks.
The objectives of this exchange program are:
● To advance international understanding & world peace by enabling youth to study firsthand some of the accomplishments and differences of people in other countries.
● To broaden their outlook by learning to live with and meet people of different cultures.
● Develop leadership and communication skills.
This program is open to youth from Rotarian, as well as, non-Rotarian families, students can apply through any Rotary Club for the year 2023-24.During the last few years Rotary Dist. 3030 have done exchanges with the USA, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Taiwan & many students in the past year have benefited with this exchange program.
Rotary Club of Nagpur ELITE President- Rtn. Shubhankar Patil has humbly requested and appealed to all students and their parents to kindly attend the seminar and take advantage of this unique programme initiated by Rotary International which symbolizes unity among diverse culture, values and which shall promote peace and friendship among nations.
