Nagpur :- Nagpur Division has embarked on a comprehensive three-month campaign focusing on Preventive Vigilance, running from August 16, 2024, to November 15, 2024. As a pivotal part of this initiative, an enlightening seminar was held on October 18, 2024, at the Samadhan Meeting Room in the DRM’s Office, Central Railway, Nagpur. The theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness program is “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”
The seminar was graced by the presence of vigilance officers from the Mumbai headquarters. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to Prateek Goswami, SDGM Vigilance, Mumbai CSTM, by DRM Shri Manish Agarwal. Following the welcome, attendees were treated to an insightful Power Point presentation on vigilance awareness by a team of distinguished speakers: Pradip S. Pol, CVO/Engineering; Amit Joshi, Deputy CVO/S&M; Hemant Jindal, Deputy CVO/Electrical; Chandrakant V. Kadam, Deputy CVO/A&P; and Pradip S. Hirade, Deputy CVO/T.
The presentations comprehensively covered a range of critical topics, including DA&R, Conduct Rules, and case studies across various departments such as Engineering, Stores, Personnel, Signal, Electrical, Medical, and Commercial. To foster an interactive and enriching experience, a dynamic Question and Answer session was held towards the end of the seminar.
In a notable address, DRM Manish Agarwal emphasized the importance of making decisions that are transparent and beyond reproach and ensuring that decisions serve the best interests of Indian Railways.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Rupesh T Chandekar, ADRM (T) Nagpur, marking the successful culmination of the event. The program was compered by Sanjhi Jain, Sr. DPO.
Prominent attendees included P.S. Khairkar, ADRM (A), and Rupesh T. Chandekar, ADRM(T), along with all Branch Officers of the Nagpur Division, and numerous officers and supervisors.
