Nagpur :- The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Nagpur Post, and the Divisional Security Control Room (DSCR) successfully rescued a minor girl and a mentally unstable woman in two separate incidents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Under ‘Operation Nanhe Farishtey,’ RPF personnel identified a minor girl traveling alone in a suspicious condition on Train No. 12859 at Nagpur Railway Station, Platform No. 6. She was safely taken to the RPF Station, Nagpur, where she was provided necessary care and handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
Similarly, under ‘Operation Dignity,’ RPF Nagpur responded to an alert regarding a mentally unstable woman who had unknowingly boarded a train from Surat. She was located on Train No. 12844 and safely escorted to the RPF Station, Nagpur. After due verification, she was reunited with her family following proper legal procedures.
