Nagpur :-This year Bhonsala Military School, Nagpur is celebrating its 26th Annual Day and Bhonsala Sainik School is celebrating its 1st Annual Day on the 10th and 11th Jan 2025
The main highlights of the Annual Day Celebrations are a Science Exhibition on the 10th Jan, with the theme this year being ‘Science for Developed India’. The Science Exhibition will be followed by a grand Cultural Program on the same day, followed by a Ceremonial Parade on the 11th Jan. The cultural program is quite unique wherein we have an ‘Atut Shrunkhala’, a big continuous drama depicting historical anecdotes, dance performances etc. The main highlights of the Ceremonial Parade on 11th Jan are the March Past, PT display, Horse riding including Tent pegging, March past, etc. The program commences at around 1600h, spans for about two hours, and concludes with a ‘Beating the Retreat’ performed by the School Pipe and Drums Band.
Vijayalakshmi Bidari, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Cultural Evening on the 10th Jan 2025. Gen Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, (Retd), Ex Chief of Army Staff will be the Chief Guest and Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Revenue Minister, Government of Maharashtra will be Guest of Honour for the Annual Day Celebrations on the 11th Jan 2025.
The program is attended by a large number of local civil and military dignitaries as well as the parents of the cadets.
