Mumbai :- Metal Ions 2024 was organized at the Nehru Science Center in Worli in the presence of international scientists and Indian dignitaries in the fields of interdisciplinary research, environmental conservation and human health.
Prof. (Dr.) Sunali Khanna was in the chair. As the chief guest, Prof. (Dr.) Irina Stepanov from USA, Prof (Dr) Ulas Oz from Turkiye and Prof. (Dr) Sri Krishna, President Elect, Indian Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Prof.( Dr) A.D. Sawant, former Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan University and President of SOCLEEN (Society for Clean Environment) a renowned NGO and Shri. Deepak Shrivastava, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, and Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Wetland Authority and Chief Mission Director, Green Tamil Nadu Mission, Government of Tamil Nadu.
A special session ” Fostering awareness for a healthy environment ‘has been organised as part of the International Symposium Metal Ions 2024, focusing on crucial themes related to Environment, Public Health, and Oral Medicine. This prestigious event, will feature a Scientific Presentation Competition designed for students from grades 9 to 12.
In alignment with the national Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative, the symposium will emphasize the significance of environmental cleanliness and public health in driving scientific innovation. Schools across India are invited to encourage their students to participate in this competition, where young minds will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and research skills on key topics related to public health and environmental issues.
