Nagpur :- VNIT and NADP, a unit of Munitions India Limited have signed MoU, to collaborate on various initiatives, on 1st May 2024.
This partnership will help in mutual growth for innovation and indigenous development in the defence sector. The various fulcrums of this collaborations are Joint efforts; VNIT and NADP will collaborate on training programs, workshops, research projects, and more; Industry exposure for students; VNIT students will gain valuable insights from NADP faculty’s industry-oriented sessions; Real-world projects; Final year VNIT students can undertake 6-month projects with MIL/DPSU units; Boosting R&D; MIL can sponsor R&D projects at VNIT, accelerating innovation; Access to cutting-edge facilities; MIL employees will get access to VNIT’s sophisticated equipment for research.
The Benefits for NADP and MIL will be accrued through leveraging VNIT’s expertise in engineering, technology, and management, by providing access to VNIT’s Centre of Excellence for Industry 4.0 Laboratory, by developing knowledge resources for product and process development, by fostering indigenization and meet the growing needs of the Indian Armed Forces, by embracing digital transformation and develop deep tech solutions and by automating hazardous processes for improved safety.

Deptt, VNIT) and Prof. Sheetal Chiddarwar deliberated on working out the scope of collaboration for building Vikashit Bharat through an Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
NADP with its association in Vidarbha with industries such as Tata Advanced System Limited, Yantra India Limited, Solar Industries, Indo -Rama Synthetics Limited, OF Bhandara and Chanda, Education Sector such as InFED of IIMN and VNIT, is slowing emerging as a Pioneer in Defence education, propelling the vision of Swabalamban Bharat and Sakhsam Bharat. The managerial strength of NADP, the technological prowess of VNIT are set to bring revolutionary changes.
