Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais inaugurated the ‘Parampara Concert’ depicting the journey of the Indian Heritage through music and dance at Rang Sharda auditorium in Mumbai on Sun (11 Jun).
The programme was organised by the Ministry of Culture in association with ‘Madhu Murchhana’ an organisation headed by Padmashri Dr Soma Ghosh, vocalist and Founder Trustee of Madhu Murchhana Trust.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said music transcends the boundaries of language or region. He said good music has the power to transport the audience to a higher plane. He complimented Dr Soma Ghosh for her work to promote Indian musical heritage.
Former Minister Kripa Shankar Singh, actor Dheeraj Kumar, Vinod Shelar, Amarjit Mishra and others were present.
