Nagpur :- Keeping the rich traditions of Maharashtra alive, an excellent program was held at Army public school Kamptee on the 22nd of December, 2023.An Anand Mela was also held with stalls displaying an array of delicious, mouth watering delicacies like Puranpoli, modak and Vada Pav.
The name of the fest was ‘DHAROHAR’ which included various individual and group competitions for students such as Tanha Pola, Sant vani, Rangoli, Fort Making, Povada, Jogva, Dindi, group dances and songs which thrilled not only the participants but also mesmerised the audience. Traditional dresses were worn by the students and teachers to prevail the Christmas spirit. ‘Christmas Carols’ were sung by students which captivated one and all. Prizes for the Inter School competitions were distributed to the students and trophies were awarded along with certificates.
The chief guest Gargi Vidyarthi appreciated the wonderful efforts of the Principal Rakhi Acharya, staff and students. There were many special guests who graced the occasion. It was a wonderful experience for one and all.
