Mumbai :- Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) for the creation of 1.21 lakh jobs were signed between various industrial establishments and placement agencies and the Maharashtra’s Commissionerate of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship at an Industry Meet held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wed (16 Nov.)
The MoUs were signed in presence of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Minister of Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of School Education Deepak Kesarkar, Principal Secretary, Skills Manisha Verma, Commissioner Dr Ramaswamy N and representatives of industrial establishments. 
MoUs were signed with 45 Corporate, Industry, Industry Associations, Staffing Companies, Start ups and Training and Placement agencies for the creation of jobs in the Hospitality, Retail, banking, aviation and Media and Entertainment and other sectors.
