Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais distributed hearing aid with ear mould to children with hearing impairments coming from poor and needy families on the occasion of the World Hearing Day in Mumbai on Sun (3 Mar).
The Distribution of Hearing Aid with Ear Mould was organised at the instance of playback singer Anuradha Paudwal by the Suryodaya Foundation. The hearing aids were given to 250 children as part of the corporate social initiative of MAHATRANSCO.
Speaking on the occasion the Governor said he will use his good offices to help children to get ‘Divyang Certificates’ early so that they will receive free hearing aids from donor organisations. The Governor applauded the efforts of Anuradha Paudwal for arranging for hearing aid to the children.
Treasurer of the Foundation Kavita Paudwal, MAHATRANSCO Director Vishwas Pathak, Times Group’s Vinayak Prabhu and WS Audiology Company CEO Avinash Pawar were present.
