Nagpur :- Central Railway, in its continued effort to prioritize employee safety and emergency preparedness, organized a First Aid and CPR training session for the employees of the TRO Department at Amla on November 26, 2024. The session commenced at 12:00 PM and was led by Dr. Lavya, Chief Medical Practitioner (CMP) at Amla, with Nursing Sister Anisha Sharma providing valuable assistance.
The training aimed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills to handle medical emergencies confidently and effectively. Employees were trained in performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), a critical intervention during cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. Dr. Lavya demonstrated the proper techniques, emphasizing hand placement, compression rates, and rescue breathing, while ensuring all participants had a hands-on learning experience.

Bandaging Techniques: Proper methods to dress wounds, control bleeding, and manage cuts or abrasions.
Triangular Bandage Applications: Practical uses for immobilizing limbs or supporting splints.
Splinting for Limb Injuries: Stabilization methods for fractures and dislocations with demonstrations using various splint types.
First Aid for Electric Burns: Guidelines for addressing electrical burn injuries safely and effectively.
A total of 31 employees participated in this comprehensive session, gaining invaluable knowledge to act promptly during emergencies. The interactive training encouraged active participation and allowed employees to clarify doubts with medical experts.
