Nagpur :- The Jagannath Rath Yatra, organized by ISKCON Nagpur Center Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Mandir, culminated in a fervent celebration. Under the guidance of Sri L Lokanatha Swami Maharaj, a devoted disciple of ISKCON founder Acharya SriL Prabhupada, the chariot procession was warmly welcomed at numerous locations.
The event began at 4:30 AM with Mangal Aarti, followed by Narasimha Aarti, Tulsi Aarti, Shringar Aarti, and Guru Puja. At 9:30 AM, the Chappan Bhog was offered to Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra at the temple. The deities, along with an idol of Srila Prabhupada, were then transported in separate Mercedes cars to the starting point of the yatra at Poddareshwar Ram Temple.
In the presence of H.G. Krishna Chaitanya Swami Maharaj from New York, the chief guest, another Chappan Bhog offering was made. The special guests, including former Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, Jaiprakash Gupta, Suresh Sharma of Baidyanath, Ramswaroop Sarda of Ramsons, Income Tax Tribunal Judge Sudhanshu Kumar Roy, Advocate Manoj Murani, Anurupa Roy, Dharmapal Agarwal, Ashok Goyal, Ajay Agarwal, Anil Agarwal, Deepen Agarwal, Company Secretary Ramanuj Asawa, Seema Agarwal Mataji, Mohta Mataji, Nitesh Kumar, Kamlesh Thavkar, Anita Parwani Mataji, ShriRam Bejalwar, Harsh Agarwal, Nair Mataji, Vidya Lalit Mohan Mataji, Ramesh Jugule, Avinash Shinde Ashok Dhapodkar etc. performed the Lord’s Aarti and inaugurated the Yatra by ceremonially placing coconuts in front of the chariot and swept the chariot’s path with a golden broom.

Nityananda Chaitanya Prabhu made the announcement in a beautiful manner, as thousands of devotees, chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra, joined the procession. Throughout the journey, the Yatra was greeted with fervent devotion and refreshments were provided at various intersections. The Rath Yatra concluded at the temple via Agyaaram Devi Chowk, Cotton Market Chowk, and Phoole Market. Upon arrival, Gauri Aarti and Maha Aarti were performed, and Chappan Bhog was offered to Lord Jagannath. The event concluded with the distribution of Maha Prasad to all attendees.
