Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid rich tributes to industrialist Walchand Hirachand at the 50th ‘Walchand Memorial Lecture’ at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Fri (16 Jun).
The Walchand Memorial Lecture on the theme of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ was organised by the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. The Chamber was founded by Walchand Hirachand in the year 1927. 
The Governor felicitated members of the Walchand family including Chairman of Hindustan Construction Ltd. Ajit Gulabchand, former President of MACCAI Arvind Doshi, Chirag Doshi, Sarayu Doshi and Pallavi Jha.
President of the Chamber Lalit Gandhi, Senior Vice President Anil Kumar Lodha, Consul Generals of various countries and Members of the Chamber were present.
