Mumbai : Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari hosted a reception for the victorious contingent of Maharashtra NCC returning from the Republic Day Camp 2023, at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.
The Maharashtra NCC Directorate Contingent, comprising 111 Cadets, won the prestigious Prime Minister’s Banner for the 19th time and also won the Champion Directorate Trophy at the Republic Day Camp 2023.
Complimenting the Maharashtra NCC contingent for winning several individual and team trophies, the Governor asked them to keep the inspiring example of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He appealed the cadets to observe discipline in their chosen walks of life and become good citizens of the nation.
Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Maharashtra Maj Gen Y P Khanduri, Col Neelesh Patharkar, senior officers of Maharashtra NCC and the Cadets were also present.
