Nagpur :- The district-level Navsakhi Saras Festival, organized under the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission by the District Rural Development Agency, was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the South Central Cultural Centre.
Revenue Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State for Finance Ashish Jayaswal, Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari, District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, and Zilla Parishad CEO Vinayak Mahamuni were present at the event.
The festival features 100 stalls, showcasing products by rural women entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister interacted with the stallholders while inspecting the stalls. The exhibition will remain open to the public daily from 10 AM to 10 PM until March 26.
The initiative aims to uplift rural women and promote their holistic development. The district administration, through such exhibitions, is committed to providing market opportunities for women and supporting the government’s mission of improving their livelihoods.
