Nagpur :- Under the esteemed guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Shri Manish Agrawal, and Dr. G.S. Manjunath,Chief medical Superintendent, the Divisional Railway Hospital, Nagpur, in collaboration with Padhar Hospital, Padhar (Dist. Betul), organized a Multipurpose Health Checkup Camp at the Sub Divisional Hospital Amla on 13th November 2024. This camp aimed to provide essential health services to the railway beneficiaries of the Amla jurisdiction.
The health camp catered not only to railway employees but also to retired employees and their families. The camp was supported by a specialist medical team from Padhar Hospital along with medical staff from Central Railway. The comprehensive health checkups included general health screening as well as specialized services in gynecology, orthopedics, and dentistry.
In addition to general consultations, the camp provided screenings for BMI, vision, random blood sugar, blood pressure monitoring, and various blood investigations. Medicines were distributed to beneficiaries, and those requiring further treatment were referred to the Divisional Railway Hospital, Nagpur.

The health camp was successfully supported by the paramedical staff of both the Divisional Railway Hospital Nagpurand theSub Divisional Hospital Amla A total of 227 beneficiaries attended the camp, including 50 employees* and 177 family members. The camp was well-received by the beneficiaries, who appreciated the efforts of the railway medical team in organizing such a valuable initiative for their well-being.
This initiative reflects the Central Railway’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the health and welfare of its employees and their families, emphasizing the importance of preventive healthcare services.
