Nagpur :-Central Railway’s Nagpur Division successfully organized “Station Mahotsav” on November 21, 2024, at Multai Railway Station. This unique event honored the legacy of the Indian Railways and aimed to create awareness about its contributions to society and its historic significance. Villagers, railway personnel, and their families enthusiastically participated, turning the celebration into a vibrant community gathering.
The event commenced with Station Manager Himanshu Kumar cutting the ceremonial cake to mark the occasion.
The celebration saw active participation from various departments of the railway, including Senior Commercial Inspector (SCI) Anita Kadve, along with staff members Pooja, Pawan (LPP), and P/M. Managers from companies associated with freight operations and students from local schools also graced the event.
The event kicked off with cultural performances showcasing local art forms and was followed by a historical exhibition displaying old railway photographs, artifacts, and memorabilia. sparking interest in railway history among the younger generation.
