Nagpur :- The Nagpur Division of Central Railway has achieved remarkable success in freight operations for March 2025, setting new records in revenue generation and cargo movement. Demonstrating efficiency and sustained growth, the Division recorded freight earnings of ₹465.18 crore by successfully loading 1,185 rakes during the month.
The Division’s cumulative freight earnings for the financial year 2024-25 stand at an impressive ₹4,733.22 crore, reflecting the relentless efforts towards operational excellence and business development.
*Record-Breaking Cement Traffic*
The Division witnessed an all-time high in cement traffic for any financial year, with 829 rakes loaded, generating freight earnings of ₹248.10 crore. This achievement highlights the Division’s strategic approach to freight operations.

Reliance Cement Private Siding Mukutban (RGTM): 387 rakes, ₹110.15 crore in earnings

Coal: 911 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹374.64 crore.
Cement: 72 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹24.18 crore.
Food Grains: 18 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹7.79 crore, a 39% increase from March 2024 (₹5.58 crore, 15 rakes).
Container Traffic: 108 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹18.22 crore, a 17% increase from March 2024 (₹15.55 crore, 100 rakes).
Iron Slag Traffic: 10 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹3.81 crore, reflecting a 111% growth compared to March 2024 (₹1.81 crore, 5 rakes).
Sugar Traffic: 6 rakes loaded, earnings of ₹0.80 crore, a 6% increase from March 2024 (₹0.76 crore, 3 rakes).
