CRPF Women’s Rally 2023.
Nagpur:-CRPF Day is being celebrated by the Central Reserve Police Force on March 25, 2023. To celebrate Government of India’s message of “Nari Shakti” CRPF is organising All-women CRPF bike expedition to be called “Desh Ke Hum Hain Rakshak” Women Bike Rally-2023 which has commenced from India Gate, New Delhi on the occasion of International Women’s Day, on March 09, 2023.
The CRPF Women’s Bike Rally was flagged off by Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Government of India at India Gate, New Delhi. This bike rally reached Nagpur on 17/03/2023 through various cities of India like Agra, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Bhopal. The rally reached Group Centre, CRPF, Nagpur on 17/03/2023 at 1830 hrs, which was welcomed by Prashant Jambholkar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Group Centre Nagpur and Regional CWA President Keerti Jambholkar and Group Centre’s Gazetted Officers, all subordinate officers and Jawans.
2.Today on 18/03/2023 (Saturday) at 0930 am the women bike rally by women commandos of Central Reserve Police Force and women bikers of Nagpur city / R. J. toured the city of Nagpur and reached Priyadarshini Engineering College. The bike rally was welcomed by the chief guest Actress Lopamudra Raut, Regional CWA President Keerti Jambholkar and Prashant Jambholkar, DIG, GC, CRPF, Nagpur.
The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest. During the programme women commandos of Central Reserve Police Force demonstrated parade with weapons, band display and weapon handling. Thereafter, amazing stunts were performed by the women commandos on different types of bikes. Mahila Shakti Commandos showed the performance of women power. The bike rally by women commandos of Central Reserve Police Force is named as “Desh Ke Hum Hai Rakshak”. In the said function the chief guest actress Lopamudra Raut alongwith Abhijit Deshmukh, Director Priyadarshini College, Prashant Jambholkar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dr. M.K. Sinha, DIG(Medical), G.D. Pandhari Nath, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh Khurana, 2-1/C. Sanjay Nirmal, Deputy Commandant, Vijay Singh, Rahul Bhasharkar, S.D. Ingle, Gurcharan Swain, Narendra Advani, Mahesh Chandra Gothriwal, Abram Thomas, Chief of Women’s Commands including Assistant Commandant Tara Devi, Deputy Commandant and Principal and staff of Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Raisoni College remained present. The personnel of Range Office, 213 (Mahila) Battalion, CH Nagpur along with their families were also present and boosted the morale of the women commandos of bike rally.
