Nagpur :- Central Railway’s Nagpur Division is making significant progress in the installation of Automatic Signaling systems on the ‘Khapri-Sewagram section’. As of now, the project has achieved a 15% completion rate, and the work is progressing smoothly as per schedule.
The automatic signaling system will enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of train operations on this critical section. Once completed, the new signaling system will automate train control, reduce human errors, and improve the overall operational speed, thus benefiting both passengers and freight services.
This initiative is part of the larger ongoing efforts by Central Railway to modernize and upgrade the infrastructure, ensuring that the railway system meets the increasing demands of passengers and freight traffic. The automation of signaling will also help in reducing delays and optimizing the management of train movements, thereby enhancing the travel experience.
