Nagpur :- The Annamrita Foundation Nagpur, organized the Festival of Gratitude at the centralized kitchen of Mrs. Swarnalata and Govind Das Sarraf (from Tumsar), Ramanuj Nagar, near Lal School, Kalmana Market, Bharatwada Road, Nagpur. The chief guests were former Member of Parliament Ajay Sancheti and Savita Sancheti, and the special guest was Prakash Khemka.
At the beginning of the program, heartfelt thanks were offered to the H.H. Lokanath Swami Maharaj, who initiated the Annamrita Foundation and, with his blessings, empowered all the directors—Dr. Shyamsundar Sharma, Rajendra Raman, Bhagirath Das, and Praveen Sahni—to work diligently. Thanks were also extended to Anju Sarraf and Ajay Sarraf, Chairperson and a key figure of Govindam Foundation, who bore the entire expense for the construction of the centralized kitchen and to Shubhangi Mataji, who provided the land for its construction.

In his address, chief guest Ajay Sancheti said,
“The Annamrita Foundation is doing important work in the field of social service. Providing pure and nutritious food to those in need is a noble cause, and the foundation’s contribution in this direction is commendable.”
He also added, “There are many people in society who wish to contribute to great causes but do not find the right organization. The AnnamritaFoundation is one of those very good organizations where one can contribute.”
Dr. Shyamsundar Sharma, Chairman of the Annamrita Foundation, Nagpur, mentioned that the dignitaries who attended the event even assisted in the food preparation themselves. Many used a machine to help make chapatis. Everyone performed beautiful adornments and paid respects to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra Mai, and in the end, a Mahaprasad (sacred food offering) was arranged for all.
