Mumbai :- Aayushyamaan Bhava is a sort of blessing given for a healthy life. With this vision and concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Aayushyamaan Bhava campaign for the healthy life of the people of the nation has been started nationwide. This drive is going to be implemented in the entire state and Maharashtra will perform its best in providing the best health services for the people, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The Aayushyamaan Bhava campaign was started nationwide today at the hands of President of India Draupadi Murmu. The campaign was inaugurated in the state at the Sahyadri guest house at the hands of Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The Chief Minister was speaking on this occasion. Health Minister Dr Tanaji Sawant was also present.
Speaking further, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that his government has given huge benefits to the common man through the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell. In the last one year, the financial assistance of more than 100 crore Rupees has been disbursed. The medical services are provided free of charge in all the government hospitals. Mr Shinde also said that 2 crore cards are going to be distributed jointly under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana and Aayushman Bharat Pradhanmantri Aarogya Yojana. He said that the health cover of rupees 5 lakh will be provided now onwards. He said that Maharashtra is leading the entire nation in the health sector and all the health schemes and ventures are implemented with common people at the central point.
He further said that through the medium of Ayushman cards, it will be possible for common people to get medical treatment on time and for this the Aayushyamaan Bhava is an ambitious campaign which will be implemented in the state from 17th of September up to 31st of December 2023. The registration and distribution of the Ayushman card of all the eligible beneficiaries under this campaign will be done.
Various initiatives inaugurated
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde felicitated the ‘Nikshay Mitra’ and the districts that have done outstanding work under the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program. Similarly, the distribution of cards under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana and Aayushman Bharat Pradhanmantri Aarogya Yojana was also done at the hands of the Chief Minister. More than 2 crore cards are going to be distributed in the state under the schemes, the Chief Minister said.
The Arogya Aadhar App, Maharashtra Nursing Home registration App and Samuday Aarogya Adhikari App meant for the officers of the Aarogyavardhini centers of the state were also launched in the program.
Common man at the center- Chief Minister
Speaking further Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that while implementing these schemes, the quality health services are to be provided till the remotest rural areas of the state and this is extremely necessary. He said that by keeping the common man of the state at the center, the Aayushyamaan Sabha, Aayushyamaan fest, health checkup for Anganwadi and primary school children, blood donation camp, awareness campaigns for organ donation, cleanliness drives, health check- up of male above 18 years and other such campaigns will be implemented. He further said that the state government has decided to provide free of charge medical services and medical checkups under the public health department and government hospitals of the state. He said that through the Chief Minister Medical Assistance Cell, assistance of more than 112 crore rupees have been distributed in the last one year.
Aayushyamaan Gram Sabha on 2nd October
The Aayushyamaan Gram Sabha is going to be organized on 2nd October and it will be very important for creating awareness about the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Yojana. The Chief Minister directed to prepare the list of all the eligible beneficiaries of Ayushman Gram Sabha and all those who have been benefited by the Ayushman Bharat Jan Aarogya Yojana in the state. He also directed to update the list of hospitals that are affiliated to the Pradhanmantri Jan Aarogya Yojana.
‘Organ donation very important’
Stating that organ donation is a generous and noble work; Shinde further said that public awareness should be created in this regard during the Ayushman Sabha. He also said that for providing nutritious food to the patients of Tuberculosis, the initiative for preparing ‘Nikshay Mitra’ should also be encouraged as it will be useful for providing health services to the people of the state.
