Nagpur :- Two RUBs are being constructed under the railway line passing through Panchpavli area under the longest over bridge being built from Kamal Chowk to Dighori. In such a situation, a strong water harvesting system should be built here so that the problem of water logging does not arise here. So that in future the citizens do not have to face water logging here. Such a demand has been made by Environment and Water Friend Dr. Pravin Dabli by making a request to the Regional Officer of NHAI along with the Project Director, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, North Nagpur MLA Dr. Nitin Raut, Central Nagpur MLA Vikas Kumbhare, MLA Praveen Datke, MLA Vikas Thackeray.
It should be known that all the RUBs built in the city including Uppalwadi, Narendra Nagar, Gaddi Godown, Lohapul, Manish Nagar, Binaki Mangalwari become the cause of trouble for the common people during normal rains. The water in these becomes so full that pedestrians and drivers have to face difficulty in crossing them.
Water harvesting system has not been built in any RUB. Due to which water cannot drain out. In such a situation, future problems should be prevented by building a strong water harvesting system in the RUB being built in Panchpavli area.
Installing a water harvesting system will also help in increasing the underground water in this area. Along with this, Dr. Dabli has also demanded from the concerned department to improve all the RUBs in the city and install a water harvesting system. So that the city residents do not have to face problems in the rain.
