Nagpur :- The two days National Conference on ‘Pathways Transforming Nursing Future’ by VSPM Madhuribai Deshmukh Institute of Nursing Education (VSPM MDINE) on 30th & 31st January 2023 at Digdoh Hills, Hingna Road, Nagpur.
Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Pro-chancellor & Advisor of the Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Sawangi-Meghe was the Chief Guest and Dr. Ayushree Ashishrao Deshmukh was the Guest of Honour of the programme.
Dr. Vedprakash Mishra said that health care delivery system needs to be effective. Nursing care is very important in healthcare industry. The healthcare industry is incomplete without Nurses. He motivated all the nurses to play their role with discipline and dedication and also advised them to work out for making the difference in nursing profession and be the change. With these words, he unveiled the theme of the conference. He appreciated the efforts made by VSPM MDINE.
Addressing the gathering, the Guest of Honour Dr. Ayushree Ashish Deshmukh said, “In today’s growing and complex health care environment, where nursing profession is in great demand, these conferences support professional development and career growth and create awareness among nurses regarding future areas of the nursing profession. Nursing care is the backbone of the healthcare industry. These types of conferences are needed in the interest of world class care.” She appreciated the conference and assured all support in the interest of nursing career.
The conference was funded by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. As a MUHS representative Narendra Kolte, Principal, Zade College of Nursing, Nagpur, Dr. Bhusaheb Bhoge (Founder, VSPMAHE), Yuvraj Chalkhor (Secretary, VSPMAHE), Dr. Vilas Thombre (Vice-Dean, NKPSIMS) and other delegates were present on this occasion. 236 participants attended the programme.
The key note was addressed by Dr. Amrapali Gajbhiye, Principal and Professor of VSPM MDINE, Digdoh Hills, Hingna Road, Nagpur. Prof. Lata Sukare, HOD of MSN department proposed a vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by Bincy K.P. The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour.
