Nagpur :-Archbishop of Nagpur Archdiocese Most Rev. Elias Gonsalves on Sunday said that Today is the celebration of the 25 years of journey of this Church. Facing all kinds of hardships, we reach a place of pilgrimage.
He was speaking at the Silver Jubilee celebration of Mary Queen of Apostle Church, Pallotti Nagar, Nagpur. 
The grand occasion was also graced by the honourable presence of Very Rev. Fr. Jacob Nampudakam – President – UAC and Very Rev Fr. Joy Palachuvattil – Provincial Rector, Nagpur Pallottines, former Parish Priest of the Church and Priest and Nuns from across India and Maharashtra.
Addressing the gathering in his homily, the Archbishop said “Today is the celebration of the 25 years of journey of this Church. Facing all kinds of hardships, we reach a place of pilgrimage. It is a Spiritual Achievement for all of us. This journey never ends, and we have to go on. We need to look forward to the future with hope and become an ideal Parish for others to follow”.
The Archbishop and the other Priests were welcomed by the Parishioners with a traditional welcome dance performed by the Mahila Mandal group. After the Holy Mass a cultural programme was held for the Guests and Parishioners at Pallotti School Ground. The Priests and dignitaries were felicitated by the Parishioners.
The programme was co-ordinated and compered by the cultural committee group comprising of Nirmala Simon, Andrea Kulthe and Florin Fernandez. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Tom and Sushma Bastain. Father Johnson Puthur, Parish Priest thanked everyone for their painstaking efforts put in to make the celebration a grand success.
