NAGPUR :- Maha Metro Marathon, organized by Adventures and You, would be held on 5th January (Sunday) 2025. The Marathon is powered by Maha Metro Nagpur and would be flagged off from Institute of Science, near Nagpur University Building, Civil Lines. Maha Metro has planned special trains as the venue is very close to Zero Mile Metro Station.
The race has been organized in five different categories of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 5 km and 3 km. The race would start and end at Institute of Science. The timings at which race for the five categories would start is as follows:
• 42 kms – 03:00 am
• 21 kms – 06:00 am
• 10 kms – 06:30 am
• 05 kms – 06:45 am
• 03 kms – 07:00 am
Maha Metro Nagpur has made special arrangements to enable the participants to reach venue on time. Special Metro trains have been made available for the event. would be thus, the first metro train from all four terminal stations of Khapri, Automotive Square, Prajapati Nagar and Lokmanya Nagar would start at 05.00 am, to be followed trains at 05.30 and 05.45 am.
Regular metro services would start from 06.00 am onwards. Thus, the participants can travel by Metro to return to their homes. The venue – Institute of Science is just 200 meters from Zero Mile Metro Station and the travel time to reach the race venue would be approximately 20 minutes for the longest stretch.
Moreover, Metro travel is very safe, convenient and hassle free. Given the comfort the Metro travel offers, all participants are requested to avail this offer. Moreover, participants travelling by Metro can enjoy 30 % Weekend Discount on Metro tickets. Thus, Metro travel to the venue and back would be a fruitful exercise for all the participants.
