Nagpur – Smart India Hackathon 2022 software edition is inaugurated at Nodal Center G H Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur (GHRCE) on 25 th August 2022 in presence of Chief guest Mr. Shailesh Awale, Center Head & Director HCL Technologies, Nagpur & Guest of Honor Dr. Abhay Gandhi, Dean Academics VNIT Nagpur along with Dr. Sachin Untawale Director GHRCE and Steering Committee members Dr. Dinesh Padole, Dr.
Santosh Jaju & Dr. Prema Daigavane. Welcome address is delivered by Director GHRCE Dr. Sachin Untawale. Mr. Deakin Daney, CEO Bootstart appreciated the facilities and efforts taken by the organizing team of GHRCE and given best wishes to all participants. He also stated the information and objectives of SIH to all attendees. Dr.
Abhay Gandhi appreciated the initiative of hackathon to overcome the challenges like climate change, rapid change in energy scenario etc. Mr. Shailesh Awale stated that the availability of such platforms for the students nourish the research & innovation culture among today’s youth.
He also focused on the startups and its success stories. He also urged to all participants to follow the given schedule & time line to complete the problem statement and finish their work in given time. In this SIH at GHRCE, in all 25 teams are participating along with their mentors. Working on 5 problem statements given by Ministry of Culture & shall generate solution in next 36 hours which will end at 8 pm on 26 th August 2022. GHRCE thanked Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE
for giving opportunity to host the event. Organizing team under the leadership of Sunil Raisoni, Chairman, Dr. Sachin Untawale Director GHRCE are working for the successful completion of event.
