Nagpur :-The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Ajni demonstrated exceptional vigilance and commitment to public safety through the successful rescue of a 14-year-old child under their “Operation Nanhe Farishtye” initiative.
On December 19, 2024, at approximately 4:00 PM, alert RPF personnel stationed at the Ajni identified a distressed minor within railway premises. The child, who had become separated from his mother at a city bus stand earlier that day, was immediately taken under the protection of the RPF team.
The RPF team swiftly coordinated with the local police to initiate search efforts for the child’s family. While immediate contact with the family could not be established, the team ensured comprehensive care for the minor. They arranged for a thorough medical examination at Meyo Hospital, Nagpur, where the child was confirmed to be in good health. Following the examination, the child was transferred to the Nagpur Child Care Center and placed in a child protection home for continued care and support.
The dedication and timely response of the RPF personnel highlighted the effectiveness of “Operation Nanhe Farishtye,” an initiative committed to protecting and assisting vulnerable children found in railway areas.
The Nagpur Division of Central Railway commends the RPF Ajni for their exemplary service and dedication to passenger safety and community welfare. This heartwarming rescue underscores the critical role of such initiatives in fostering a safe and secure environment across the railway network.
