Nagpur 22 Apr 22 – Around 16,000 Cadets of NCC Group, Nagpur paricipated in ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’ campaign to clean seashores/beaches and other water bodies.
The Cadets, keeping with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, participated in the campaign to clean lakes, rivers and other water bodies, including collection of plastic and other
waste material, thereby positively impacting nearly 10 Lakhs population in Vidarbha region which included Nagpur, Chandrapur, Katol, Narkhed, Bhiwapur, Saoner, Brahmapuri and few districts of Gadchiroli.
At Nagpur, Cadets of various schools & Colleges cleaned many water bodies like Futala & Ambazari Lake , Kanhan river.
The aim of the NCC Gp Nagpur through this exercise was to preserve the local surroundings and environment for future generation by keeping it clean & healthy.
