Mumbai :-Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais released a Braille text book on the subject of ‘Home Science and Physiology’ prepared for the visually impaired students of class 10 at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (16 Oct).
The book has been made at the instance of Rotary Club of Hiranandani Estate in association with the Blind Welfare Organization and Milton Company. It was informed that the book will be found useful by visually impaired students who find it difficult to perform Practicals of Science I and II papers. It was also stated that the book will be distributed free of cost to schools for the visually impaired. 
Former MP Sanjeev Naik, District Governor of Rotary District 3142 Milind Kulkarni, President of Rotary Club of Hiranandani Estate Sukumaran Nair, Rtn. Baljinder Singh Kumar, Blind Welfare Association’s Arun Paraskar, Ajit Chavan, Project lead Piyush Nagda, Dhananjay Singh, Milton Company officials and students of the Pragati Andh Vidyalaya Badlapur were present.
