Mumbai :-Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presided over the concluding session of ‘Kaushal Utsav’, a festival of skills organised by L & T Skill Trainers Academy at Madh Island off Mumbai on Sat (7 Jan). The Kaushal Utsav was organised by L & T to mark the completion of 5 days of specizlied training of 1000 trainers of Industrial Training Institutes from Maharashtra at its training facility in Mumbai.

Ramakrishnan,Dy CE Ashok Shahane, Director of the Academy B A Damahe, Vice Chancellor of Maharashtra State Skills University Dr Apoorva Palkar, Master Trainer L&T Priya Sawant, Trainers and ITI Instructors completing 5 days skills training were present.
Complimenting L & T for starting the Skill Trainers Academy the Governor called upon L & T to work closely with the Maharashtra State Skills University started by the Government of Maharashtra. He further appealed to L & T to open more such skill training academies all over the country to realize the Prime Minister’s goal of making India the skill capital of the world.
The L & T Skill Trainers Academy, a CSR initiative of L & T, organised the Skills Festival in collaboration with the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Government of Maharashtra.
