Nagpur :- Cancer awareness campaign conducted under aegis of HQ UM&G Sub Area at Military Hospital Kamptee in coordination with National Cancer Institute, Nagpur from 15-16 Jan 2023. The awareness talk was attended by 251 personnel. Screening camp covered relevant issues of Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer though a 15 member team of National Cancer Institute, Nagpur.
The camp participants included families of military personnel, Veterans and families and National Cadet Corps cadets. A booklet on Cancer awareness was launched by Major Gen S K Vidyarthi, GOC HQ UM&G Sub Area and distributed to all participants during the event. The occasion was also graced by Mrs Gargee Vidyarthi, Chairperson FWO UM&G Sub Area.
