Nagpur :-Bamboo Society of India (BSI), Maharashtra Chapter (MC) through it Vidarbha Bamboo Devp & Promo Committee (VBDPC) to launch Awareness Prog on Bamboo in Architecture for the students & faculty of architecture of all institutions / colleges in Vidarbha region from 5th of April. All arch colleges have consented to hold this prog on their premises.
The said awareness programme has been sponsored by Maharashtra Bamboo Promotion Foundation (MBPF) GoM U/T, Mumbai informed Ajay Patil, President Bamboo Society of India, Maharashtra Chapter (MC) -Vidarbha Bamboo Devp & Promo Committee (VBDPC).
There are around 13 institutions or colleges in Vidarbha where 2500 students will learn bamboo applications in construction, designing and benefitted.
Ar Sunil Joshi, Prof Uday Gadkari, Ar Mahesh Mokha, Ar Pradyumn Sahasrabhojanee, Ar Sonal Shala etc will be the team to impart and aware students of importance of bamboo as structural yet Eco friendly building material for sustainable development.
