Nagpur :-G H Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur (GHRCE) has established AICTE-IDEA lab at the campus on as per sanctioned on 8th February 2023. AICTE-IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab is being established for encouraging students for application of science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) fundamentals towards enhanced hands-on experience, learning by doing and even product visualization. GHRCE has embedded facility for engineering graduates for more imaginative & more creative solutions on the critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking, collaboration, communication, lifelong learning etc. This lab empowers students and faculty to “engage, explore, experience, express and excel”, addressing the need of new age learning.
Inauguration ceremony of AICTE-IDEA Lab has been conducted at GHRCE on 10th June 2023 at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Neeraj Saxena, Advisor-I, AICTE New Delhi & in the gracious presence of Chairman BoG Sunil Raisoni.
In the inaugural speech Dr. Neeraj Saxena has explained the concept of IDEA Lab its role in the providing skilling. Skilling is important in the current education system that makes the students acceptable in the industry. Director has delivered welcome address narrated about the achievement of GHRCE and Dr. Jaju has delivered R&D achievement of the institute.
The chief mentor of AICTE-IDEA lab is Dr. Sachin Untawale Director GHRCE wherein faculty co-ordinators are Dr. Santosh Jaju, Deputy Director & Dean R&D and Dr. Dinesh Padole, Dean & Professor, Electronics Engg. Dr. K.K. Jajulwar has delivered thanks to all students, staff and management of RGI
