Nagpur :- A medical and dental camp was organised at Village Ghorad in Kalmeshwar Taluka Nagpur by HQ Maintenance Command on 04 Aug 24.
The camp was inaugurated by Air Mshl VK Garg AoC-in-C, MC. Various OPDs including ENT, opthal, cardiac, paediatric, dental and general medicine were established. More than 650 villagers were screened and free medicines were distributed.
Additionally books for village library established by HQMC and sports items for Primary School were gifted to village Sarpanch by AOC-IN-C, MC. The event was graced by President AFFWA(R) MC and nutrition packs and stationery for children were handed over by her to Aganwadi workers . A tree plantation drive was also done at Village under GoI initiative of Ek Ped Maa ke Nam
Village Ghorad was adopted by HQ MC on 15 Aug 2023 and various facility upgradation in the field of health, hygiene, sanitation and primary education are regularly undertaken by HQMC.
