Nagpur – An outreach program on Organic Farming and organic product certification was organized by the Regional Centre of Organic Farming(RCOF), Nagpur Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in Vidarbha Industries Association auditorium in Civil Lines, Nagpur. Dr. A.S.Rajput Regional Director, RCOF was the Chief Guest, Dr. Praveen Vootla, JSO, RCOF also participated along with the members of VIA including Om Jajodia , Sakshi Mallik , Agarwal , Retired BDO, Geonka , Dr. Mahendra Singh Thakur , Director, Ruchi Biochemicals, Gondia and Sh Laxmikant Padole , Director, Neem Foundation, Nagpur.
On this occasion, Dr. A.S.Rajput Regional Director, RCOF advised for Organization of weekly market for creating platform for organic producers to boost up organic farming.He also suggested intaiatives for Strengthening and streamlining of Goshalas for saving cowsBiofuel production concept and its importance explained by Dr. Mahendra Singh Thakur , Director, Ruchi Biochemicals, Gondia, discussed in detailed about the establishment Dr. Praveen Vootla JSO, RCOF explained about Govt. of India support for Goshalas and organic inputs plants. VIA members decided to have conference at RCOF, Nagpur with Goshala owners in the last week of January,2022 for taking forward the idea of establishing the biofuel production units.
