– Working since 40 months Delhi consultant
Mumbai:-The information given by MMRDA to RTI activist Anil Galgali has come to light that the master plan of Mumbai University, which is famous in the world, is not getting the time, but MMRDA is making moves. Delhi consultant has been working for 40 months and has been given 5 lakhs.
RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought information about the Master Plan of Mumbai University from MMRDA. MMRDA Public Information Officer Ankit Das informed Anil Galgali that the process of preparing the said master plan is on the progress track. The consultant appointed to prepare the said master plan has so far received Rs. 4,96,000 has been paid as per the payment submitted by him.
MMRDA has commissioned DDF Consultants, Delhi on 28 August 2019 to prepare the master plan of Mumbai University and has paid a total of Rs 5 lakhs. Total cost for master plan is 1.12 crores. The master plan is being prepared since last 40 months.
MMRDA has taken the initiative on behalf of the state government for the overall development of Mumbai University. But regretting that MMRDA is moving unfortunately, Anil Galgali said that still MMRDA is not sure when the master plan will be completed. Anil Galgali has demanded punitive action against the consultant.
