Nagpur :-Central Railway, Nagpur Division, successfully organized a comprehensive First Aid and CPR training session for SPARME (Subordinate Personnel Association for Railway Medical Employees) and ART (Anti-Retroviral Therapy) staff at Wardha. This initiative was aimed at equipping railway employees with essential life-saving skills to handle medical emergencies effectively and efficiently.
The training session was conducted by a team of medical professionals, including Dr. Saba Akhtar, CMP/WR, supported by Rahul Tayade, Chief Pharmacist/WR, Pooja Thool, Sr. NS/WR, and Joginder Rajak, Dresser/WR. The experts provided detailed insights into the critical steps of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), accompanied by practical demonstrations to ensure thorough understanding.
In addition to CPR techniques, the session covered various aspects of first aid, such as proper bandaging methods for different injuries and the correct usage of triangular bandages. The trainers also explained the importance and application of splints in managing fractures and other injuries, helping participants gain practical knowledge for real-life scenarios.
A total of 42 employees participated in the session, receiving hands-on training that will significantly enhance their ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. This training is a testament to Central Railway’s commitment to fostering a well-prepared workforce, prioritizing safety, and promoting operational excellence across its network.
