Nagpur :-The Nagpur Division of Central Railway today commemorated Constitution Day with great fervor and a strong emphasis on the values and principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event was organized at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Nagpur Division, Central Railway.
The highlight of the ceremony was the reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, led by Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), Shri P.S. Khairkar. Officers and staff members joined in unison to reaffirm their commitment to upholding the democratic principles that govern the nation.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of S.M. Borkar, Assistant Personnel Officer (Electrical). It aimed to promote awareness about the Constitution’s importance in shaping India’s democracy and inspire railway employees to embody its values in their professional and personal lives.
Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is observed annually to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26th November 1949. The Nagpur Division’s celebration reflects its dedication to fostering a deeper understanding of the Constitution’s role in building a just and equitable society.
