19th National Slum Soccer Football Tournament

Winning start for Maharashtra, Vidarbha teams

Nagpur : Teams from Delhi, Host Vidarbha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Haryana . 19th National Inclusion Cup 2023 Slum Soccer Football Boys Football Tournament at the national level, which was started today by the krida vikas sanstha (Slum Soccer).

Maharashtra defeated Gujarat 9-7 in a tight opener in the tournament being played at the Slum Soccer Academy, Bokhara. Philippe Desha (3.15, 6.10, 11.00 minutes) and Edwin Falero (4.10, 6.40, 6.50 minutes) scored 3-3 each and contributed to the team’s victory. Samuel Bhise (5.10, 9.14th minute) scored two goals and Amit Chitri (11.50 minute) scored one goal and contributed to the victory of the Maharashtra team. .

In the second match, host Vidarbha defeated Jharkhand 5-2. Badal Soren (11.20, 11.40, 13.20 minutes) played an important role scoring three goals in Vidarbha’s win. Om Dandavate, Arshad Shaikh got off to a winning start with one each.

Bimal Ghosh (Dronacharya award winning football coach) congratulated the players and announced the opening of the competition. On this occasion, the founder of krida vikas sanstha and the real heroes of the movie Jhund, Prof. Vijay Barse, Ranjana Barse, Abhijit Barse were mainly present on the stage. The program was moderated by Shiba Marcus.

1) Karnataka beat Madhya Pradesh 10-4

Victory Team: Karnataka – Nanda Kumar 5, Rakshit 2, Jones 2, Richard 1)

Losing Team: : Madhya Pradesh – Mohammed Kaleem 3, Prince Tigga 1)

2) Telangana beat Tamil Nadu 10-6

Winning Team: Telangana – Samuel Benezer 5, Karan Kumar Singh 4, Sai Durgaprasad 1)

Losing Team: Tamil Nadu – Abdul Afzal 5, Sarat 1)
