Nagpur :- The Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development (SCSD), Nagpur, hosted a vibrant and engaging NGO Networking Meeting, bringing together numerous social sector organizations committed to community upliftment and youth development.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participating NGOs who took the time to attend and contribute meaningfully to the dialogue. Dr. Jai Prakash Paliwal, Director of SCSD, who provided this valuable platform for NGOs to come together, share their insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration, led the initiative.
The session was highly interactive, fostering open exchange of ideas and experiences among the attending organizations. It was a wonderful opportunity for all to understand each other’s areas of expertise, strengths, and the impactful work being carried out across the region.
One of the major highlights of the discussion was the proposal to develop a Psychometric Tool aimed at helping students completing their 10th or 12th board exams. The envisioned tool would assess students’ personalities and strengths, assisting them in choosing suitable academic or career paths (e.g., BE, B.Sc., B.Com. BA, etc.). This initiative promises to make a significant impact on student guidance and long-term community development.
The meeting also facilitated resource-sharing and potential partnerships among the NGOs, reinforcing the spirit of collective action for societal good.
