Nagpur :- Maharashtra, January 19th, 2025 Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development (SCSD) organized an insightful and engaging Guest Lecture on sharing “Travel Experiences – Discovering Culture, Peoples and Nature”. The event featured two distinguished Guest Speakers: Rajendra Harshwardhan, Retired Bank Manager and Photojournalist from Nagpur and Snehal Wankhede, Bank Manager, a Solo Traveller and Photographer based in the city.
These lectures provided an exciting opportunity for students and participants to hear first-hand experiences of their travel stories and cultural discoveries. Attendees were captivated by the unique stories behind their journey, offering a glimpse into the diverse cultures they had encountered. The speakers also provided an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the moments captured in their stunning photographs.
Rajendra Harshwardhan shared his pictures captured at Bhamragrh, showing unique lifestyle of the tribe. The story behind each picture was very exciting and adventures.
Snehal Wankhede shared valuable insights into the world of Travel Photography, emphasizing how her journeys had shaped the understanding of tribal cultures and peoples in around India. Their real-world experiences enriched the audience’s knowledge.
The lectures, which was open to all, offered a free platform for participants to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and deepen their understanding.
This event was conducted under the guidance of SCSD’s Director, Dr. Jaiprakash Paliwal. Program was anchored by Raju Wankhede, Graphic Design & Photography faculty, and coordinated by Mangesh Dongare. These Guest lectures were a part of SCSD’s ongoing efforts to promote skill development program.
The event successfully attracted an audience of around 30 participants, including students, professionals, and fellow travelling photographers. SCSD continues to provide enriching opportunities for its students, contributing to their academic and personal growth. The event was a resounding success and highlighted the importance of Photography in capturing the essence of diverse cultures. It also fostered a deeper understanding of the significance of environmental conservation in today’s world.
