Nagpur :- On 19.05.2025 at around 09:24 hrs, the RPF Nagpur received a message from the Divisional Security Control Room, Nagpur, regarding two unattended children traveling alone in the general coach of Train No. 22512. Their mother had reportedly deboarded at Gondia station to fetch water and was inadvertently left behind. Acting swiftly under Operation Nanhey Farishte, RPF staff HC Bhanse and CT Dharmendra Singh attended the train at Nagpur station. The TTE had safely secured the children in the pantry car and handed them over to the RPF along with their belongings.
The children were brought to RPF Nagpur. A short while later, their mother arrived at Nagpur station by Train No. 12130. She produced valid identification documents, including Aadhaar cards of the children. After thorough verification of the documents and statements, and confirmation from the children in the presence of Childline representative and two independent witnesses, it was established that the children were not in conflict with the law.
Following all necessary procedures and documentation by SIPF M.K. Pandey, and after the children confirmed the identity of their mother and expressed willingness to go with her, both children were safely handed over to their mother at 13:40 hrs with appropriate guidance for their future safety.
