Nagpur – The 104th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India late Indira Gandhi was observed as National Integration Day at Raj Bhavan on Friday (19th Nov).
Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar offered floral tributes to the portrait of Indira Gandhi and later read out the ‘National Integration Pledge’ to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan.
Officers and staff expressed the resolve ‘to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation and to continue to endeavor towards settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region or other political or economic grievances by peaceful and constitutional means’. Deputy Secretary to Governor Prachi Jambhekar, officers and staff were present.
