Nagpur :- Nagpur Division of Central Railway is making remarkable progress in upgrading station infrastructure under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The initiative aims to provide enhanced amenities, modern facilities, and improved passenger convenience. Key updates from Narkher and Junnardeo stations are as follows:
Narkher Station
Foot Over Bridge (FOB): Column erection completed at Platform 4.
Lift Installation: Work in progress for Lift No. 3 at the existing FOB.
FOB Goods Column: Steel and shuttering work underway at Platform 4.
FOB at Goods Platform: Column erection progressing efficiently.
Cover Over Platform: Completed, enhancing passenger comfort and safety.
Junnardeo Station
Main Booking Office Building: Construction work is underway.
Parking Area: Upgradation work progressing to improve accessibility.
Lift Installation: Installation underway for lifts at Platforms 1 and 2/3.
Circulating Area: Drainage system development in progress to prevent waterlogging.
Foot Over Bridge (FOB): 12-meter-wide FOB column erection completed at Platform 2.
Cover Over Platform: Completed to provide all-weather convenience for passengers.
