Nagpur :- The Nagpur Division of Central Railway reaffirmed its dedication to employee safety by organizing an extensive First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training session on December 10, 2024. Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager Manish Agrawal and Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. G.S. Manjunath, the training benefitted 41 employees from the TRO department, equipping them with critical life-saving skills.
The session, conducted by Dr. Sabahat, ADMO (Physician), and supported by Dresser Chaya Sonkar, emphasized practical, hands-on learning. Participants were trained to perform CPR on mannequins, ensuring a thorough understanding of the technique.
Key highlights of the training included:
Effective bandaging techniques and the use of a triangular bandage for various injuries.
Application of splints of different sizes for fracture immobilization.
Specialized procedures for managing electric burn injuries.
This comprehensive program aimed to empower employees to respond swiftly and effectively to workplace emergencies, enhancing overall safety and preparedness.
