Major Disaster and possible casualties averted by prompt action by Nagpur Fire Department.

Nagpur – A possible disaster claiming casualties was averted by Fire Departments prompt action by responding to a distress call informing them about a vehicle engulfed in flames at Rahate Square, Wardha road yesterday late evening.

At approximately 23:40:00 hours on 27th January, Fire station TO Mr. Parate was informed that a call was received from Reema Dixit, informing that her car has caught fire at Rahate Square. Taking cognizance of the matter a fire tender was Turned out at 23:40:30.

The Fire fighting team of comprising Hake (tender Driver), ASO Wagh, Tembhre (equipment operator) Shembekar (Fire Fighter) Chavan (contractual Fire Fighter) and three other under training fire fighters rushed to the spot on their fire tender MH 31 DS 4921 and controlled the put out the fire successfully that engulfed the car.
