Nagpur :-The value of green suburban and regional rail transport is being realized with the introduction of the Nagpur Metro. The wait for Nagpur Broad Gauge Metro is still on. Therefore, Railways should fund better regional connectivity network for Nagpur. Many trains have been shifted out of Nagpur citing lack of capacity in trains. Nagpur station needs more platforms.

To start more Vande Bharat trains, Nagpur should also get maintenance facilities for these trains. Funds should be allocated in the budget for this. Nagpur Metro Phase II awaits funding commitments to begin. We are waiting for allocation of funds from the Center to start the work.
