Maha Governor presents Gandhar Gaurav Puraskar to Atul Parchure; senior actor Usha Nadkarni is honoured with Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar
MUMBAI – Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari applauded children’s musical performance and acknowledged the role of children’s theatre in shaping the personality of children at a function held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Sunday (14th Nov).
The Governor also presented the Gandhar Gaurav Puraskar for 2021 to theatre and film personality Atul Parchure and gave the Lifetime Award to actress Usha Nadkarni for her contribution to theatre.
The Children’s programme and the awards presentation function was organized by Gandhar Arts, an organization promoting children’s theatre at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.
MLA Ashish Shelar, MLA Sanjay Kelkar, music composer Ashok Patki and Chairman of Gandhar Art Mandar Tillu were present.
The Governor also presented the Gandhar Yuva Gaurav Puraskars to director Jayant Pawar, Anushree Fadnis, musician Omkar Ghaisas and theater personality Prakash Parkhi.
